Lili's exam prep

Lili summarized last time's video very nicely. The writing task was also brilliant. This time we focused on film reviews. The plot involves a mighty and mean magician who had been defeated by baby Harry Potter years before he wants to take revenge on Harry and get his powers back, by getting a valuable stone hidden in a wizardry school. Can Harry stop him before it is too late? The film is mostly set in Scotland, in an old school, which gives it a very nice atmosphere. The soundtrack is impressive. The acting is also of a very high standard and Daniel Radcliffe brings his character to life with a dazzling and memorable performance. ...

HW review: The reading task about the London Tube was a bit difficult, we are now going for easier options. Writing: We did the transactional letter, a university accommodation assistant is writing to an estate agent about a flat for an art student. Lili is fluent in writing, she can explain herself easily. Speaking: We discussed the cake video. HOMEWORK: 1. Speak about the video below for 1-2 minutes. 2. Write a message to your friend about a video you saw the other day. Write about -what happens in the video -whether you like it or not -your general opinion -what it reminds you of The video:

We had a look at the structure of a typical language exam, specifically a Euroexam mock paper . We did Task2 Reading , focusing on the tricky aspects. 2 out of 6 were correct. We did a diagnostic test of the Oral exam Task1 (Interview) and Task2 (Transactional dialogues). Lili speaks fluently with minor accuracy mistakes.
